so xmas is over.
but the holidays aren't.
this year i took a winter vacation..without my parents lol
the day after my exams were over i flew to Toronto.
ahhh.. one of my favorite cities. the lights always go on forever.
when u arrive at the YYZ airport. ..i love landing at night.
its so breathtaking..and beautiful.
i feel liek it represents the unlimited beauty, surprises and opportunity here.
but don't get me wrong. it is also a very dirty downtown/city overall compared to vancity.
but when theres tons of ppl..theres tons of life..n when thers tons of life?
there's tons of p a r t y i n g =)
hence, the 'dirty' city, literally.
I always seem to be here in the coldest time of the year tho, winter.
i hope to come bak in the summer one year for an intership or what not.
or.. just to visit n do i duno what.
i don't think i can live without coming to the east coast at least..once a year?
i love shopping here. a little too much. =D
so. damien n i spent about a week at my old roomate, Amanda's place.
she lives downtown, the only part of toronto i really kno, so that was fun.
after that we headed to damien's dad's place in TO for two nights..
we were only supposed to stay for one but there was a snow storm so we stayed longer.
then we DROVE to Montreal, yes, we actually drove here from TO.
L o n g ass ride & faithful Mickey D meals =S lol so. i'm in Montreal now, at Damien's frd's place.
b o r e d outta my mind lol.
they both went out to work n left me home alone lol!!
i have nowhere to go n nth to do. not in t h i s weather.
-10 or colder? no thanks, not going out. besides, i don't drive!
n other than that, i spent most of the credit on my visa
before boxing day was even n e a r!
um.. bad habit? or just good shopping in TO =)
i still managed to go shopping at BCBG =)
of course, being the undeniable shopaholic that i am =)
i also went lingerie shopping and a lil more haha.
So, one thing i don't get is how come Montreal does not have a SEPHORA??!
well there are 2 to be honest, but they're both in neighbouring cities, NOT mtl.
well i guess thats not as sad as vancouver. not a SINGLE sephora.. YET.
lets keep em crossed. just in case 
and..there is NO aritzia?? ahhh this is the FASHION centre of canada? (other than TO)
deep breath...(in..and out.) see? this is when u kno ur a true vancouverite:
you hyperventilate at the mere thought of life w/o aritzia. ha.
wait, theres more. there is NO Armani Exchange either. dun dun dun dun.
AND only ONE Club Monaco?! w-h-h-h-a-a-at?!? 
s i g h. i'm ok. alright, on the BRIGHT side, there are a lot of american stores we don't have.
not to mention, local designers and boutique stores
It just takes a little time to get used to. Afterall, Vancouverties love brand name labels.
...n um, thats basically it. Just easy, slap it on clothes with labels across them.
casual, weahter appropriate, and not too flashy p l e a s e kinda stuff.
which might exactly be the reason why those 3 aforementioned stores do not appear here.
well, everyone knows its hard to open a business in Montreal if ur not uber trendy.
On the brighter bright side, there is StyleExchange here, which is almost like a
Holt Renfrew for the younger set..carrying brands like Energie, Miss Sixty, Seven for All Mankind etc.
the one and ONLY day that we went downtown montreal...my camera ran out of batteries =(
Real bummer, cuz Montreal is GORGEOUS!
little italy actually looked like europe..n when we drove around it on the other side of the dt,
i thot we were in paris or smth. There is definetly a lot of european influence here, its beautiful.
St. Catherine's is the shopping strip in dt (parallel to Robson) but MUCH prettier.
n wayyy better. The department stores in toronto and mtl are also much nicer.
not to mention b i g g e r. but Vancouver is home. n its quaint. =)
whenever im on the westcoast i miss the shopping in the east..
but whenever i'm on the eastcoast, i miss the food in vancouver!!!
however, when i come home, i will have to start fresh.
from head to closet to toe.  really.
i NEED new shoes. i alwasy spend my money on clothes instead of shoes.
now i have no shoes to wear with my new clothes.
i need new heels, boots..boots and..um yea.
i need to colour and trim my hair, the whole shebang.
and.. well i am on the hunt for a new job..a g a i n!!! =(
I am not exactly excited o_0
and my schedule is comprised of 3 boring classes and 2 that i will hopefully enjoy.
and..l o t s of studying. unfortunately.
and ..yay. shopping =) things go on sale even more after boxing day

..hopefully, if everythign works out..we'll be takin a 2 night trip to TO..
where my evil shopping plans may prevail and the earrings will be mine
